RetuRO, the administrator of the Guarantee-Return System, the largest circular economy project in Romania, inaugurates the third regional SGR packaging collection center in Brașov County, located in the VGP logistics park.
With an area of 3,300 square meters, this regional center is equipped with advanced packaging processing technology, including PET and aluminum can counting machines, glass packaging counting machines, glass hoppers and balers . The center in Brașov has an annual processing capacity of over 240 million packages.

The regional center will serve the counties of Brașov, Harghita, Covasna, Sibiu and the surrounding areas. Both manually and automatically collected SGR beverage packaging will be transported here, using RVM-type equipment. The operationalization of this SGR packaging processing unit creates new green jobs, with the new center having approximately 40 employees.
